ΘΕΜΑ: Υποτροφίες Του Υπουργείου Παιδείας και Έρευνας της Ρουμανίας
Διά του παρόντος ανακοινώνονται υποτροφίες από το Υπουργείο Παιδείας και Έρευνας της Ρουμανίας ακαδημαϊκού έτους 2026-2027.
Πιο συγκεκριμένα παρέχονται:
- 3 υποτροφίες, 10 μηνών που αφορούν σε έναν πλήρη κύκλο προπτυχιακών σπουδών
- 1 υποτροφία 10 μηνών που αφορά σε μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα ή Έρευνα
- 3 υποτροφίες για θερινά μαθήματα γλώσσας, λογοτεχνίας και πολιτισμού
Οι αιτήσεις των υποψηφίων με τα συνημμένα αυτών υποβάλλονται ηλεκτρονικά έως 24 Μαρτίου 2026 στην ακόλουθη διεύθυνση:
Πληροφορίες, έντυπα αιτήσεων καθώς και απαιτούμενα δικαιολογητικά στα επισυναπτόμενα έγγραφα.
Το Υπουργείο Παιδείας δεν έχει αρμοδιότητα για παροχή περαιτέρω πληροφοριών/ διευκρινίσεων. Για οποιαδήποτε πληροφορία παρακαλούμε όπως απευθύνεστε στην ηλεκτρονική διεύθυνση που αναγράφεται επί των συνημμένων εγγράφων.

Annex no. 1
Number of scholarships offered by the Romanian state for the academic year 2026-2027 under the cooperation programme:
a) 3 (three) scholarships of 10 (ten) months each, for a full cycle of university studies;
b) 1 (one) scholarship of 10 (ten) months for postgraduate studies or research;
c) 3 (three) scholarships for summer courses of language, literature and culture.
The deadline for submitting the nominal list of candidates and the corresponding documents for full undergraduate studies is March 31, 2026.
Annex no.2
Information regarding the Romanian scholarships available starting with the academic year 2026-2027
1. General information
A. The Romanian scholarships available starting with the academic year 2026-2027 will be offered for Bachelor, Master and Ph.D. studies.
Bachelor and Master studies shall be offered for accredited education programs in Romanian language organized by public universities. The preparatory year of Romanian language is included in the scholarship.
Doctoral studies may be delivered in English or French. The preparatory year of Romanian language is included in the scholarship grants, if requested.
B. The scholarships include the following facilities:
a) Covering of tuition and enrolment fees;
b) Accommodation in student dormitories within the national subsidy limit. This may lead to additional costs for students, as set by the host university;
c) A monthly scholarship allowance, in the amount of 925 lei;
d) Medical assistance in case of medical-surgical emergencies and potentially endemic diseases.
2. Eligibility criteria:
a) Candidates who do not hold Romanian citizenship or the citizenship of a European Union/Swiss Confederation/European Economic Area member state, with the exception of European Union countries for which a letter of agreement is in force;
b) Candidates who are not members of the diplomatic corps or family members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Romania;
c) Candidates nominated through diplomatic channels, by relevant partners;
d) Candidates who did not benefit from a scholarship granted by Romania for the same study level (Bachelor/Master/PhD. studies/post-university studies);
e) Candidates who present study documents issued by accredited/recognised education institutions;
f) Candidates who present study documents that allow the enrolment in Romania for the required field and study level.
3. Application file:
The application file will be submitted through the Romanian Embassy, in electronic format.
The electronic application file will contain copies of the original documents, as well as certified translations, if necessary, in English, French or Romanian.
A. List of documents to be included in the application file for Bachelor studies:
a) The Romanian scholarship application form - filled in for all its sections;
b) The birth certificate;
c) The passport, valid for at least 6 months after the beginning of the requested study programme – the first 2 pages;
d) The document certifying the name change (if applicable);
e) The high school Graduation Diploma, authenticated by the competent authorities of the issuing country (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs or others);
f) An official statement demonstrating that the candidate graduated the high school studies and passed the graduation exam - for the graduates of the current school year, if the final study document has not yet been issued. Annual Academic transcripts can be presented if the submission of the application occurs before the graduation exam;
g) Academic Transcripts/Diploma Supplement for the graduated studies, authenticated by the authorities of the issuing country;
h) The medical certificate proving that the person who is to be enrolled for studies does not suffer from contagious diseases or from other impairments that are incompatible with the future studies;
i) Curriculum Vitae (max. 3 pages);
j) The Letter of intent (approx. 250 words – Please indicate your motivation for pursuing the study program, as well as the reasons that led you to choose it).
B. List of documents to be included in the application file for Master studies:
a) The Romanian scholarship application form - filled in for all its sections;
b) The birth certificate;
c) The passport, valid for at least 6 months after the beginning of the requested study programme – the first 2 pages;
d) The document certifying the name change (if applicable);
e) The high school Graduation Diploma, authenticated by the competent authorities of the issuing country (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs or others);
f) Bachelor Diploma or its equivalent, authenticated by the competent authorities of the issuing country (Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs or others);
g) The official statement demonstrating that the candidate graduated the Bachelor studies and passed the graduation exam - for the graduates of the current academic year, if the final study document has not yet been issued. Annual Academic transcripts can be presented if the submission of the application occurs before the graduation exam;
h)The Academic Transcripts/Diploma Supplements for the graduated studies, authenticated by the authorities in the issuing country;
i) The medical certificate proving that the person who is to be enrolled for studies does not suffer from contagious diseases or from other impairments that are incompatible with the future studies;
j) The Curriculum Vitae (max. 3 pages) ;
k) The Letter of intent (approx. 250 words - Please indicate your motivation for pursuing the study program, as well as the reasons that led you to choose it).
C. List of documents to be included in the application file for Doctoral studies:
a) The Romanian scholarship application form - filled in for all its sections;
b) The birth certificate;
c) The passport, valid for at least 6 months after the beginning of the requested study program – the first 2 pages;
d) The document certifying the name change (if applicable);
e) The high school Graduation Diploma, authenticated by the competent authorities of the issuing country (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs or others);
f) The Bachelor Diploma or its equivalent, authenticated by the competent authorities of the issuing country (Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs or others);
g) The Master Diploma, authenticated by the competent authorities of the issuing country (Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs or others);
h) The official statement demonstrating that the candidate graduated the Master studies and passed the graduation exam - for the graduates of the current academic year, if the final study document has not yet been issued. Annual Academic transcripts can be presented if the submission of the application occurs before the graduation exam;
i) The Academic Transcripts/Diploma Supplements for the graduated studies, authenticated by the authorities in the issuing country;
j) The medical certificate proving that the person who is to be enrolled for studies does not suffer from contagious diseases or from other impairments that are incompatible with the future studies;
k) The provisional agreement from a thesis coordinator and the Doctoral School;
l) The Curriculum Vitae (max. 3 pages) ;
m) The Letter of intent (approx. 400 words - Please indicate your motivation for pursuing the study program, as well as the reasons that led you to choose it).
Important note: For Ph.D. studies, the enrolment is conditioned by passing the admission exam organised by the host university.
